Head sail

Welcome!

We’ve lived aboard our sailboat, Chandelle, since 2016 – spending much of that time replacing parts, upgrading and adding systems and outfitting for offshore sailing in Seattle, WA. Spring 2023 we finally untied the lines and spent that summer sailing around Vancouver Island in Canada. In the fall of ’23 we made the passage south to San Francisco and have slowly continued south from there. We’re currently exploring Pacific Mexico and looking to cross to the south pacific by 2026!

The Crew

Paige: Chef, Communications Director

Moon follower, unicorn whisperer, mermaid wannabe. Traveling nurse, yogi, amateur photographer and Auntie. I find magic in most places and people and feel most at home caring for others.

Alex: Captain, Engineer

Philosopher, historian, beer connoisseur. A mostly self taught all around handy person, has spent years in the marine industry and with the right amount of swearing he can fix most anything. He loves a good discussion on most topics but beware he can argue his way better than most.

Our little floating Home

Chandelle is a 1979 semi-custom Heritage 47, built in Florida. A cutter rigged sloop with a large center cockpit she’s comfortable to sail and live aboard. We were fortunate enough to purchase her from the original owners who brought her from Florida to the Pacific Northwest in the 80s. They designed her to be a live aboard vessel and kept her in immaculate condition. We’ve done our best to maintain the pristine interior while making her our own.
